1 A very important bill, for international copyright, is now pending in Congress, in the U. S. When this passes, (and the prospects are excellent for it) I will at once attack Jansen, McClurg & Co. Then, with the law on my side, and the American press, for all the Amer. editors now advocate protection for authors, I can, under favorable conditions, have an authorized, illustrated edition of Fältskärn published there. As you see, I have lost nothing by the waiting. The press-omdömen af Fältskärn have been very good; all praise the translation, and the translation is mine, and I shall claim it.
